    • Hey Chris
As I have previously mentioned there is different key combinations to boot into recovery mode for different phones. But don’t worry fo your device (T-mobile galaxy sII )
Press — *Volume plus + volume down + power button* combination, when the phone vibrates, release power button but keep holding the other two after few seconds your device will enter into recovery mode. Hope you have already installed CWM recovery, if not then you sholud visit http://www.kickiteasy.com/install-cwm-recovery/ to install CWM recovery. Reply if it helped you. Thanks.

  8. Hi Saransh

On Tab3 theres no way to take out the battery. Ive done all the steps until “As soon as your device starts rebooting, unplug your device and remove the battery of your device.”

When I press Volume down,Home and power Im taken to a download screen. My options are “install a custom OS press up” and “press volume down to cancel”

I dont know where to go from here..

    thanks

    • @Rob
Answer for your first query :- If you have non removable battery device, Just unchek the autoreboot option in Odin so that your device won’t be auto rebooted after the flashing process. When Odin displays pass, remove your device and enter into CWM mode, access CWM mode to install Super SU zipped file.
Answer for your Second query :- When you access the download mode of your android phone, press volume up and connect your device to the pc and follow all the steps in the tutorial.
Do let me know if you have more problem related to it, I will update this post and add some more points related to your query very soon. Thanks Rob

  9. Hi Sir, will this work on a Dual Sim Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G3608). I’m an avid member of the XDA community. From what I know if this version of CWM Recovery isn’t compatible with my phone. I’ll probably put it in a recovery loop until I flash the stock recovery back. So my question is will this be compatible with my phone which has android 4.4.4 ?? Cheers

  10. @Rob, @Vishnu
I have made some changes in this post keeping in mind about your query for flashing CWM recovery file in non removable battery Smart phones, Thanks.

  20. Hi there,
I ‘ve tried to follow your steps to root my Galaxy S1, however the phone says ‘DOWNLOADING…’ and ‘Do not turn off target!!!’ and the connected Odin3 program seems to run, while it said – set up connection- initialization- Get PIT for mapping – Firmware update start – recovery.img – NAND Write Start!!
and then…… silence for more than an hour…
No infor from PC, phone just showing it’s screen…. nothing seems to happed…
    Please can you help me?
You also wrote: …”even my own Samsung device got bricked when I was trying to root it, but don’t worry about that, I’ll be posting to unbrick your android device as well.”
Can you give the link to that article?
    Thanks in advance

  21. Hello Saransh,

Thanks a lot for your reply: it is veru appreciated, however my phone can not be set in recovery mode: when switching it on with volume up – on -enter button, it shows a yellow trafficsign with ‘downloading’, however Kingo Root is detecting it because it shows ‘conneting’ right after connecting USB…..however it is not finishing the connection: it keeps going on for hours…
When I start the phone by just switching it on with another keypress combination, it shows a discontinued link between a PC and phone icon only: Kingo Root says: ‘NOT connected’
I cannot continue the steps mentioned in your link above
Is this a hard- or soft-bricked phone? Can I unbrick it?
    Thank in advance, Bob
