Step 1 – Download and Install the Tool

After downloading the tool, double click on the setup to install it. It doesn’t matter where you install the tool. You can download it on a different PC as well, not necessarily on a computer you wish to unlock.
Step 2 Burn the Tool to CD/USB
In the very next step, you have to make your CD/DVD/USB flash drive bootable. If you are using a trial version then you might not be able to flash the tool to USB. Burning the tool to flash drive means to flash the recovery file of Windows to the CD/DVD/USB flash drive.
Part – 1
If you are using the same computer whose password is to be recovered or using a different computer on which same Windows is installed as the computer whose password is to be recovered. Then you can forward with the Quick Recovery option.
Now select the drive you want to burn and hit Burn. Wait for the burning process to complete.
Part – 2
If you are using a different computer with a different version of Windows OS installed on it then you can continue with Advanced Recovery Wizard.
Select the Windows version of the target computer and select the drive you want to burn and hit Burn. Wait for the burning process to complete.
Step 2 Reset/Remove/Recover forgotten Windows Password
Now insert the newly created CD/DVD/USB flash drive into the computer whose password is to be recover/reset.
Now when you reboot your computer then you’ll see the main setup screen. You will see three options –
- Reset your Password
- Remove admin account
- Create a new account
In order to recover forgotten Windows password. Just select the first option, i.e, Reset your password and hit next. Now in the next screen, you’ll see an option to set a new password or else if you want to remove the password then you can select Remove the password option. Just select the account you wish to reset or remove the passwod and hit Next.
Now wait for some minutes. After some minutes you’ll see a message “Congratulations, Administrator’s password has been removed successfully” Click on Reboot and you’ll see there will be no password for logging into your Computer.
Cool, isn’t it ? Else you can even remove an admin account using this tool. You can also create a new account using this same tool. The tool is really very great, useful and fairly easy to use.
